Director / Business Developer - Information Technology (permanent)
We are looking for a highly knowledgeable and experienced professional with the urge to make a difference to join our ambitious, dedicated and expanding technical team.
You will work in an international environment in our company as well as at our customer's site. You will head our service line Information Technology by bringing in your broad experience in information technology and business development.
Responsibilities
- Lead our service line “Information Technology” (technical consulting, solution engineering, managed services)
- Further develop the strategy of our service line
- Identify opportunities to improve and newly develop services to our international customers base in area Basel – Zürich – Bern
- Represent wega’s IT-capabilities through publications, public presentations, etc. in a pro-active way
- Use and extend (y)our contact network and provide support in pre-sales activities
- Act as a high-level technology consultant at customers, and be technical lead / architect within wega projects
- Recruit technical consultants
- Develop exchange of knowhow among our consultants and be responsible for further development/ training of wega’s technical consultants
Necessary Skills
- Good communicator, networker, open minded
- Have a broad understanding and interest of various technologies (.NET, J2EE, Oracle, Sharepoint)
- Have Hands-On capabilities in selected technologies
- Have experience, ability and wish to support pre-sales activities
- Fluent German and English
- Flexible in providing on-site consultancy in Basel – Zürich – Bern
